Pilates

Pilates is a whole-body workout that combines movement, muscle balance, and

postural awareness. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or seeking overall well-

being, our mat-based pilates are tailored to your individual needs.

What is clinical pilates?

Clinical pilates focus on:

- Functional movement patterns: improve how your body moves in everyday

activities through optimal posture and control

- Core stability: through engaging deep abdominal muscles for better posture and

balance

- Strength and flexibility: tone your body while maintaining flexibility and mobility

for a balanced and aligned body

- Breathing control: adopt mindful breathing techniques

We recommend that you review with one of our physiotherapists prior to doing pilates

with us, as the physio will work with our pilates specialists to ensure optimal gains whilst

minimising injury aggravation. We provide mat based pilates services on a 1:1 and 1:2

basis. This allows the pilates specialist to give each participant individual attention

ensuring that each exercise is mastered with precision and control. Each pilates

exercise will be personally tailored to your abilities, injury profile and physical

rehabilitation needs.
