The sooner the better. If we can affect damaged tissues at an earlier stage, generally we can resolve the issue much quicker and you’ll need to see us less!
We ask about your injury, the history of it, any previous injuries or possible family issues that may be related. We will take a brief medical history and review your medications as they can have effects on tissue healing on occasion. We may ask you about your profession, but this will only be understand how to manage your pain / symptoms as best we can.
No! We will assess and these days we only really look at MRI if you are not getting better or we think you may require further intervention other than physiotherapy. But we can assess and are open to your thoughts and questions too.
Some problems take time to get better. Other issues may require further investigation. Either way, don’t be afraid to talk to your physio. It’s important that you understand all your options and decide the best pathway for you.
Of course. Globally this is a regular thing, however we are getting better at it in Ireland slowly. We recommend occasional review to stay on top of you problems and manage better.
All of our physios are CORU and ISCP registered so are covered by the main insurers. We recommend you contact them and learn what you are covered for. Use your insurance well!
For the most part, yes! You don’t need to have done it before. Most people are starting fresh or trying to manage and you’ll probably find that a lot of people are in the same boat! We’re here to help.
Yes – we strongly recommend that you are reviewed by our Pilates instructors prior to starting our pilates classes. This way she can ensure that the class is tailored to your needs
Yes of course, but to get the full benefit, we strongly recommend that you attend the full course to get the full benefit.
